Let's unpack it a bit and I love a list so here goes - The top 10 reasons (according to me).
Lack of Clear Goals - goals may not become clear until we get in to our program. I design a program that evolves with and adapts to you. You don't have to have goals, just know what you like and don't like to do.
Boredom with the same routine - every session is different and geared to explore things you like.
Limited time due to busy schedules - we strip back all unnecessary, boring exercises and just stick to the good stuff that gets the results you want.
Lack of support - weekly, monthly sessions online or in person are standard. What support do you need, hands on, hands off? There are loads of options that can work for you.
Fear. Fear of Failure. Sometimes when your goal is in sight, you start to get the heebie jeebies about actually reaching it. Luckily at the beginning and routinely during training, we pictured this eventuality - what it would look and feel like. What would happen when the goal was reached.
Physical or health issues - one of my clients has had a month off due to a very bad virus. Right at the beginning of our training program, we prepared for this as it happens to everyone. The training program started with building skills which were not loaded for performance goals. So we don't have to backtrack and lose all our progress.
Lack of enjoyment. - Not a problem with my sessions!
Stress and Mental Health. Making your workouts a time when you can reduce stress and feel safe are a priority.
Low energy levels. SLEEP and nutrition are very important for your overall energy. Several of my clients on the ELLE-ITE program benefit from sessions with a Nutritional Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist free of charge.
Lack of progress. How do we measure progress? Not with scales, tape measures or photographs. Never will I ever ask for before and after photos. We work on skills and confidence. You want to be able to run around after your children, progress in a hobby or start a new activity? Great, we'll use those benchmarks for progress.
